Highlight few things that a develoepr can not do via API
From w/in my app I need to get the phone's total physical storage (HD Space). I couldn't find it in the API (only shows RAM info); moreover, searching hasn't turned up anything fruitful.
So, it would be nice to see a list of things that either you know or others have tried but isn't possible via the API yet.

Designing a distinctive themed Metro app
Metro design language is great for developers since apps look pretty good with the stock styles. I'd love to go to a session where they show how to design a UI that conforms to metro while getting away from the standard looking app. Show us how to create a background, change the headers and add personality to our apps.
